Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our most complex project to date, with a value of ~£30M. This innovative and challenging in-land marine project will involve the construction of four cofferdams, installation of ~1000m of sheet piling, and drainage diversion works.
The project will be administered under an NEC option C contract, and it is a design and build project. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering this project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This is a long-term opportunity for you to work in a fixed location for the next 4 – 5 years, delivering niche and challenging projects. There is also a clear succession plan, which will give you the opportunity to grow into a Contracts Manager role.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver the largest singular project in the company's history, with a value of ~£30M.
- Lead a team of engineers and contractors to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Work closely with the client to understand their requirements and deliver a project that meets their needs.
- Manage the project budget and ensure that all costs are accurately forecasted and controlled.
- Develop and implement a project management plan that ensures the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Hold demonstrable experience in delivering marine/river/wet civil engineering projects as a number one, with values more than £20M.
- Be very familiar in working under the NEC form of contract.
- Have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership.
- Have a strong understanding of project management principles, including project planning, risk management, and quality assurance.
- A salary of around 80,000 – 90,000 per annum, with the opportunity for negotiation.
- A ~£8,000 car allowance, paid travel, matched contribution pension, accommodation, and subsistence.
- A profit share bonus and 25 days holiday.
- The opportunity to work on a complex and challenging project, with a clear succession plan for career development.
