About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Underwriter to join our National Commercial Underwriting team. As a Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing risks across a variety of business classes, including Motor Trade, Farm, Estates, and Commercial Select products within our Small to Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) or New Business teams.

You will work collaboratively with our agencies, resolving complex referrals and ensuring effective management of the insurance risk cost, whilst delivering the right solution and service for our customers.

We offer a comprehensive induction program for this role, which includes ongoing training and career progression opportunities. You will have the flexibility to work part-time, with 21+ hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm.

We are looking for a resilient individual with a customer-focused mind, strong attention to detail, and the ability to make rational and logical decisions in a fast-paced environment. If you have previous experience in Commercial General Insurance and are a keen learner, we would love to hear from you.
