Salary: £40,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a day shift basis. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of various manufacturing equipment, including cookers, labellers, conveyors, boilers, refrigerators, and bespoke machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair special purpose plant machinery and equipment
  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and rectify faults on production lines and other equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in repairing and maintaining special purpose plant machinery
  • Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent
  • Electrically competent with knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
