Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Ruskin Mill Café. As a key member of our Catering team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Catering team in preparing food to a high standard, using ingredients and methods in line with the Trust's Food and Nutrition Policy.
- Serve drinks, cakes, and other light refreshments to customers.
- Clear tables and clean, wash dishes, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Provide a high-quality customer service experience, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the Catering team to achieve our goals and objectives.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a café and/or using a till and handling money.
- Ability to work with vulnerable young people with learning disabilities, as you will be required to work with students.
