We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in North HSCP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of safe, clinically effective, and cost-effective prescribing by providing GP practice-based clinical audit and patient-facing medication reviews.
  • Provide expert advice on prescribing and medicines use in various therapeutic areas and clinical settings.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate processes to ensure successful implementation of NHS Ayrshire & Arran prescribing strategies and policies.
  • Develop the General Practice Clinical Pharmacist's role.
  • Perform medicines reconciliation following hospital discharge or attendance at outpatient clinic.

Requirements:

  • Masters of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent.
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain.
  • Vocational Training (Level 2) or equivalent training experience.
  • Relevant pharmacy experience.
  • Experience in primary care pharmacy.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of information technology.
  • Required to demonstrate a highly specialised level of clinical pharmacy knowledge.

Essential Requirements:

  • UK driving licence/Car ownership is essential.
