Salary and Benefits
  • The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £29,970 - £36,483 per annum, pro rata for part-time workers.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled children's nurse to join our team at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. As a Paediatric Staff Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of surgical conditions, from trauma and orthopaedics to general surgery.

You will work alongside our experienced Clinical Nurse Specialists and other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to our patients. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills through working on complex cases and contributing to ward developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be a Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN/RN child branch) or equivalent.
  • Have current NMC registration.
  • Have experience of working in a hospital environment, preferably in paediatric surgery.
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with patients, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
