Job Overview: As a Nursery Nurse, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team responsible for providing high-quality care, safety, and engaging play experiences for children. Working collaboratively within the setting, you will play a vital role in implementing daily routines and fostering positive relationships with children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observing, supporting, and extending children's learning in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Liaising with parents/carers to encourage partnership and involvement in their child's development.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant documentation, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent qualification in childcare.
  • Experience working with children, staff, and parents/carers in a similar childcare setting.
  • Sound knowledge and practical experience of day care for young children and the EYFS curriculum.
  • Understanding of the role of the key person in childcare settings.

Compensation: A competitive salary of £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including discounted childcare, full induction with ongoing training and support, health and well-being support, gym membership, free uniform, bike to work scheme, additional day off for birthday, staff inset days, paid Christmas event.
