Lab Equipment Installation and Maintenance Specialist

A highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer/Laboratory Equipment Installation and Maintenance Technician is required to join our team at AWD online in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
About the Role:We are seeking a talented individual with a strong background in installing, servicing, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling to client sites to install, commission, maintain, and repair specialist flow chemistry equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Training new and existing users in the operation of the flow chemistry system, reactors, and software
- IQOQ certification of newly installed flow chemistry systems worldwide
- Performing maintenance and upgrade services on-site in laboratories and at the factory
- Discussing applications and gathering information from customers' experiences
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventative maintenance and repair
- Providing technical support to customers by phone and email
- NVQ Level 3 or Higher Diploma/Degree in engineering or chemical engineering (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a laboratory service or installation role
- Full driving license and own vehicle (company van provided for working hours only)
- Ability and desire to travel internationally
- Experience within a scientific industry and working in a laboratory environment
- Estimated annual salary: £45,000 - £60,000
- 25 days annual holiday + bank holidays
