Electrical Compliance Specialist

Diabetesstories is seeking an experienced Electrical Compliance Specialist to ensure the safety of our products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing an effective legal compliance program, focusing on global safety standards and directives related to machinery equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed testing on new and existing products to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Maintain and update approvals/certifications on units to the latest relevant standards.
  • Carry out inspections and analysis of products to enable product certification.
  • Maintain a product compliance database to support business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with current worldwide compliance regulations and directives.
  • Act as a point of contact for external compliance testing and ensure technical manuals and product documents are accurate.
  • Audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify potential weaknesses or risks.

Requirements:

  • Health & Safety knowledge, especially in relation to electronics and electrical installations.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with electrical/mechanical knowledge.
  • Quality or inspection experience.
  • PAT & Flash (Hi-pot) testing.
