Contract Auto Electrician Opportunity

The Redline Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Contract Auto Electrician to support a key project for a large transport client in London.

This is an initial 3-month contract opportunity, commencing as soon as possible, where you will be responsible for installing CCTV systems, connecting to vehicle harnesses, testing, reassembling vehicles, and reporting back.

The role involves working night shifts in multiple depots around London, with the client not covering travel costs. You must be local or able to travel around London, working Monday to Thursday, 6pm - 4am.

You will need to bring your own tools, including a laptop and A steps.

This contract has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination, allowing candidates to operate through their own PSC.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience of electrical work on any kind of motor vehicle
  • CCTV installation
  • Previous experience in Telematics
  • Experience using FMS or CAN bus is desirable
  • Desirable - previous experience working on buses and coaches
