As an interpreter and translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting Services: You will provide high-quality interpreting services for individuals who require assistance with communication in legal, health, and local government settings.
  • Liaison Role: You will act as a liaison between service users and providers, ensuring seamless communication and resolving any misunderstandings that may arise.
  • Confidentiality: You will be handling confidential information and must maintain the highest level of discretion.
  • Language Skills: You must be fluent in English and another language, with the ability to interpret and translate complex texts with accuracy and precision.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: You must possess formal qualifications in interpreting or translation, such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages.
  • Age and Residency: You must be at least 21 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
