Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload, providing expert advice and representation on all aspects of contentious probate, including Inheritance Act claims, disputes over wills, and executor and beneficiary disputes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing high-quality legal services and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives and contribute to the firm's success.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and best practices, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Solicitor with 1 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in private client matters.
  • Some experience in contentious probate is necessary.
  • Strong litigation skills and a robust understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Excellent client care abilities, with a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Adept at negotiating and resolving disputes effectively.
  • Keen attention to detail and the capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to business development and building client relationships.
