Teaching Geography in Eastbourne

A dedicated and passionate teacher is required to deliver engaging Geography lessons for Key Stages at a high-achieving secondary school in Eastbourne. The salary for this role is £115 - £250 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

This position involves delivering Geography lessons across the Key Stages, with a focus on delivering for the high uptake in Geography at KS4. The ideal candidate should have thorough and up-to-date subject knowledge, good classroom management, and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships. Additionally, they should be able to confidently deliver lesson content and possess strong classroom management and rapport-building skills.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject (such as Geography)
  • A recognised teaching qualification is desirable
  • Recent experience teaching in UK Schools
