Job Title: EDM Technician

About the Role:

We are supporting a specialist engineering business that produces precision engineered components and tooling solutions. The company has a modern range of CNC machines and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work on spark eroding machines to produce precision engineered parts, working to extremely fine tolerances.
- Ensure products are evaluated and inspected to the required standards.
- Set and operate EDM machines, working closely with engineering drawings to produce parts.
- Support routine maintenance and upkeep of machines, identifying opportunities for improvements to the manufacturing process.

Requirements:

- Experience working in an EDM setting on spark erosion and a good working knowledge of the electrical discharge process for machining.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measure and inspect work.
- Good working knowledge of EDM process to resolve any issues in the manufacturing cycle.
