Financial Controller

DATIM Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and preparation of month-end accounts. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
The Financial Controller will be responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger, ensuring invoices and credit notes are posted against purchase orders, and payments are allocated correctly to the creditors account. You will also prepare month-end creditors reports, reconcile supplier statements to ledger, and perform daily bank reconciliations and postings. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of month-end accounts for three companies, review variance analysis, and maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely posting of invoices and credit notes.
- Prepare month-end creditors reports and reconcile supplier statements to ledger.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and postings.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end accounts for three companies.
