We are seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Assistant to join our team at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Hitchin, part of Grandir UK. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, fostering their growth and development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and supporting children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Preparing and supervising activities under the guidance of level 3 qualified practitioners, promoting learning and development.
  • Contributing to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment for the children, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Reading, understanding, and implementing all company policies, procedures, and operational practices, ensuring compliance and excellence.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors, and work colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
  • Attending regular staff meetings, planning meetings, and undertaking training as required, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
