Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team and help us safeguard our critical infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing large-scale security projects, conducting penetration testing, and identifying vulnerabilities in our systems and applications.
Responsibilities
- Manage security test projects, working closely with stakeholders to understand the scope and overall risk
- Deliver high-quality security reports and help teams remediate security findings
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise security risks
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure our security posture remains strong
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Extensive practical experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
- Strong understanding of open-source, freeware, and commercial penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools
- Experience with penetration testing frameworks and methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Knowledge of common pen tests and application security tools, such as Kali Linux, Burpsuite, Metasploit, Wireshark, Nipper, Nmap, and Nessus
- Professional certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, CCT APP, or CCT INF
