We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.
Your main task will be to conduct thorough assessments, drawing on your clinical expertise to gather medical history and perform physical examinations. You will then produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to inform their decisions on benefit eligibility.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of individuals, gathering medical history and performing physical examinations
- Produce accurate and concise reports for the DWP
- Meet with clients face-to-face and via telephone/video, demonstrating sensitivity and compassion
- Uphold best practice standards in assessment delivery
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD) present on CV
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
- IT skills and experience of using a range of software
- Self-aware and focused on professional development
- Honest and able to maintain integrity and customer confidentiality
- Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect and sensitivity in assessment delivery
