Job Summary

We are seeking self-employed owner drivers to join our team at Parcelforce Worldwide in North West London. As a self-employed owner driver, you will have the opportunity to work with one of the UK's largest and most established national express carrier businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver parcels and packages to customers across North West London
  • Work independently as a self-employed owner driver, with the support of Parcelforce Worldwide
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations, providing a high level of service and commitment
  • Manage your own route and schedule, with the flexibility to work 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)
  • Be responsible for arranging your own route cover for sickness or holiday absence

Requirements

  • Access to your own long wheel-based van, either owned or hired, fitted with reversing camera or sensor
  • Personal vehicle insurance that covers the carriage of goods for hire and reward, and emergency breakdown cover
  • A full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Valid business insurances, including £5 million Public Liability, £5 million Employers Liability, and £25,000 Goods in Transit
  • A smart appearance and full PPE, including steel-toecap boots
  • Good level of fitness to meet the demands of multi-drop delivery with parcels weighing at least 30kg
  • Ability to pass a basic CRB check and Right to Work checks
