Mental Health Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team at Rethink Mental Illness. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by severe mental illness to regain their confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide one-to-one support to service users, helping them to set and achieve their personal goals
• Work closely with service users to develop and implement tailored support plans
• Offer emotional support and guidance to service users, promoting their mental wellbeing and resilience
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support
Requirements
• Transferable life/work experience and a passion for supporting individuals with mental health conditions
• Excellent listening and empathy skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users
• Alignment with the values of Rethink Mental Illness, including hope, understanding, expertise, equity, commitment, passion, and openness
