About the Role

This position is a key member of the Business Development team at GCM Grosvenor, supporting the growth and management of our client relationships across Europe. As a Relationship Management Support Associate, you will be responsible for working closely with the Business Development team to communicate with existing clients and consultants, identify new business opportunities, and manage client deliverables while providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare client-driven communications and assist Business Development team members in responding to complex client and prospect inquiries.
  • Coordinate client deliverables across all departments, managing workflow and processes associated with scheduled and ad-hoc client requests.
  • Identify and cultivate prospect relationships by qualifying leads, initiating and conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Build a deep understanding of GCM Grosvenor's product offerings across all asset classes, investment process, and philosophy.
  • Provide analytical and research support to Business Development coverage teams focused on European segments of the market, staying up-to-date on current industry trends and investment strategies.
  • Effectively communicate GCM Grosvenor's points of differentiation to clients and prospects.
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce, ensuring accurate logging, documentation, and communication.
  • Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards to inform business decisions.
  • Contribute to the success of the global Relationship Management Support team and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Assist with other projects related to providing exceptional client service and support.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a proven track record of academic success.
  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in a client-driven environment within the alternative investment space, with experience in private equity, real estate/infrastructure, and/or hedge funds.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with peers, senior management, and clients.
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office Suite, with previous experience in CRM solutions required, preferably including Salesforce.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, providing leadership, and exercising discretion.
