The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of IT best practices, be skilled at adapting their approach on the fly, and be passionate about innovation, optimisation, and automation.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leveraging solid Power Platform skills and experience to design, create, and promote apps and automations within UHB NHS Foundation Trust.
  2. Working under the direction of the CSI Manager/CoE Lead, using Business Analysis techniques to quantify, measure, and document selected processes, procedures, and systems across the Trust.
  3. Leveraging Business Analysis techniques and Power Platform skills to propose, develop, and implement apps and automations across the Trust.
  4. Producing clear, accurate, and professional technical documentation for apps, automations, processes, and procedures.
  5. Day-to-day management and monitoring of a team-specific ITBM support queue within agreed Service Level Agreements, actioning, updating, and/or closing tickets as required.

Person Specification

Qualifications:

  • IT-related Degree/Higher Diploma or equivalent industry qualification or experience.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Proven experience of building and implementing Power Apps and Power Automate flows within a large organisation.
  • Relevant IT experience gained working within either a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd line support tier function.
  • Extensive experience of providing Application and Software support within an ICT environment.
  • High level of understanding of ITIL processes and Service Management best practice framework.
