About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to join our team as the Head of Female Prison. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the female prison, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to female prisoners.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of senior management experience in the criminal justice field, with a strong understanding of prison legislation, policies, and procedures. They will be responsible for developing and implementing the female prison strategy, ensuring the delivery of performance and contractual targets, and managing the prison's financial resources.

The ideal candidate will be a role model leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to promote engagement and motivation among staff. They will also have a strong understanding of people management, with experience of managing teams and developing staff.

  • A proven track record of delivering performance and contractual targets
  • Experience of managing teams and developing staff
