Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients using various systems
  • Conduct bank and control account reconciliations
  • Review and provide feedback on bookkeeping prepared by junior staff members
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their bookkeeping and provide guidance on improvement
  • Prepare VAT returns and handle client queries via phone and in-person

This role would suit a candidate with strong experience in working with multiple clients, preferably within an accountancy practice setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent IT skills, including proficiency in online accounting software packages, and demonstrate confidence in dealing with numerous clients.
