About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Bank Facilities Assistant to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Bank Facilities Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our facilities, ensuring that our patients and staff have a safe and comfortable environment to work and receive care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, including cleaning, repairs, and minor maintenance tasks.
  • Provide support to our facilities team, including answering queries, resolving issues, and escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that our facilities are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve the management of our facilities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a facilities or maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
