Product Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Product Design Engineer to join our team in Salisbury. As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products using CAD software and working closely with clients to understand their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop products using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Produce technical drawings and fabrication drawings to bespoke requirements
  • Communicate directly with clients to determine their needs and preferences
  • Liaise with manufacturing providers to ensure timely and efficient production
  • Be involved in the final assembly of products and ensure they meet quality standards
  • Create documentation for design and project reports
  • Update 3D models and drawings as required
  • Check drawings for sign off and ensure they meet company standards
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
  • Experience working with CAD software and mechanical engineering processes
  • Previous work experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work to specific requirements and deadlines
