Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Onsite at our West Molesey facility

Salary: £55,000 per annum (negotiable)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Reports to: Operations Director

Reports: Direct 5 (Team of 12)

At Volution Group Plc, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our stakeholders. As our Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving our supply chain strategy and ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a customer-centric approach to supply chain management, fostering effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner, implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Establish a robust capacity management model, balancing local manufacture, 3rd party manufacture, raw material vendors, and finished goods suppliers to meet customer demand in the most cost-effective way.
  • Lead the team by setting clear performance metrics, tracking progress, and implementing corrective action plans to prevent issues.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and adhered to by the external supply chain and warehouse, working closely with the Quality function to train relevant staff.
  • Establish and maintain optimal inventory levels, implementing accurate goods-in and inventory controls to meet business needs while reflecting financial targets.
  • Drive best practice in warehouse operations, focusing on stock accuracy, cycle counts, operating system utilization, FIFO, pick face utilization, and minimizing missing stock.
  • Ensure the Supply Chain team operates within company and legal health & safety requirements, minimizing the risk of accidents or injuries.
  • Communicate department and personal performance standards to the team, establishing training plans to meet skill development and succession needs.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant Supply Chain Management experience.
  • Significant experience in supply planning and managing external supply bases.
  • Proven record of budget achievement and effective financial management.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
