About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Registrar. As a key member of our Registration team, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of Registration functions, including the day-to-day management of Assistant Registrars.
Key Responsibilities
- Registration of Births, Deaths, Marriages, Civil Partnerships, and Stillbirths in accordance with the Handbook of Instructions issued by the Registrar General.
- Day-to-day management of Assistant Registrars, working closely with the Chief Registrar.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of Registration functions, including the management of records and documentation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to obtain a satisfactory basic disclosure certificate. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
