About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Category Development Executive to join our team. As a key member of our Category Team, you will be responsible for building category growth in partnership with our convenience customers. You will work closely with our Consumer Insights Team to drive long-term thinking and create a sustainable future for the wine category.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our convenience customers, providing them with category insights and recommendations.
- Track and review reports to explain the performance of the category and Accolade in convenience.
- Identify sales opportunities and risks for Accolade in the convenience channel.
- Support the Senior Category Manager in meeting the needs of a wider set of internal and external customers.
- Master a wide range of tools in market data analysis and shopper insight, including Nielsen and IGD.
- Degree-level qualification.
- 1-2 years of experience in an FMCG environment, either in shopper insight, consumer insight, or market data analysis.
- Preferred experience in using Nielsen or Circana data systems, and/or loyalty card-based software.
