We are seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a member of our operating department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our clinical teams.

Our operating department is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, and we offer a structured induction programme to help you settle into your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised patient care within the operating theatre
  • Assist clinicians during anaesthesia administration and maintenance
  • Participate in out-of-hours shifts, including evenings and weekends
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • RGN 1st level or HE Diploma in Operating Department Practice (or equivalent)
  • Current NMC/HCPC registration
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in the operating department
  • Knowledge of equality and diversity, clinical governance, and infection control
