GLL is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Events Assistant at Bath Pavilion. As a key member of our events team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of events within the centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive image of the venue to customers and the public at all times
  • Deliver excellent customer experience at all times
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages as required
  • Engage with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Actively contribute to the development of the service
  • Assist the manager on duty in monitoring processes against set standards
  • Ensure the security and maintenance of the bar area and its contents
  • Prepare areas and equipment required and ensure the area and all its facilities are kept clean and presentable at all times
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements, including procedures related to fire prevention, licenses, food, COSHH, heating, ventilation, energy management, and conservation
  • Undertake cash handling and banking within stipulated financial procedures

Requirements:

  • A team player with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to undertake cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Ability to work independently
  • Previous events experience is a bonus but not essential
  • Able to work unsocial hours and flexible shift patterns
