Medical Device Technician Specialist

We are seeking a casual medical device reprocessing technician to join our team at Kootenay Lake Regional Hospital in Nelson, BC.
This is a casual position, which means hours are not guaranteed and days of work and shift times may vary. However, many careers with us begin with casual employment and lead to permanent or temporary career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for preparing operating room theaters, positioning and preparing surgical patients, and restocking supplies in the theaters and storage areas. Additionally, you will transport patients, specimens, equipment, and supplies within the perioperative areas.
You will also support the surgical team by observing patients and interacting with them as needed, ensuring the proper use, care, and location of perioperative equipment and supplies.

Estimated Salary
$28.91 per hour (effective April 1, 2024)
