We are seeking an experienced Fire Engineering Manager to join our Fire Engineering Division in Glasgow, Scotland.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire engineering and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects. As a Fire Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with colleagues across various disciplines to deliver fire safety consultancy services to regional, national, and international clients. The role requires strong project management skills, including scheduling, cost control, and resource allocation. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the development of new business opportunities.

As a Fire Engineering Manager at Hydrock, you will be part of a close-knit team that works collectively towards challenges. We offer a competitive starting salary of £65,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc/ BEng/ MSc/ MEng or equivalent in Fire Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in fire engineering consultancy, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong project management skills, including scheduling, cost control, and resource allocation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A passion for fire engineering and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects
