Facilities Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and longevity of our building services, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs on building services, mechanical, and electrical systems to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operation.
  • Conducting regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues and defects.
  • Diagnosing problems with equipment or systems and implementing effective solutions to resolve issues promptly.
  • Responding to maintenance emergencies, such as power outages or equipment failures, and taking prompt action to mitigate risks and minimize downtime.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to track performance and compliance.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for occupants and employees.
  • Assisting in the development of maintenance budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
  • Providing training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements:
  • Excellent working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Highly organized and analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of workshop health and safety and environmental controls.
  • Ability to read machine OEM manuals and technical documents and interpret into usable systems.
  • Previous experience as a maintenance engineer or similar.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
