**About the Job**

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in trade compliance to work on a wide range of projects and develop their skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support Corporate/Internal/External Audits and closure actions where appropriate to ensure compliance
  • Deliver individualised training on controlled goods for a variety of stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate the day-to-day import / export requirements with the shipping agents and logistics co-ordinator to ensure deliveries are compliant with relevant standards
  • Provide guidance and advice on the US, UK and rest of the world regulations to a variety of stakeholders
  • Ensure Control/Licensing Management Plans/Technology Control Plans, approved persons lists, and other access controls are produced, implemented, maintained and regularly reviewed to ensure compliance

Requirements

  • Proven experience within a Trade / Export Compliance role - defence sector is preferred
  • Experience in export licensing requirements
  • A solid understanding of both UK & US (ITAR/EAR) export regulations
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • Must be eligible to gain UK Security (SC) clearance

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave and pension scheme.
