Job Opportunity:

Our client Argos is seeking a skilled Van Driver to join their team in a customer-facing role.

The Role:

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for making 30-40 drops per day in a long-wheel-base 3.5t vehicle to homes and local outlets. Orders will be picked for you, and you will be required to arrange your own load according to delivery plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver orders to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Arrange loads according to delivery plan
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Full UK driving license with no more than 3 points (excluding DR, DD, CD, TT Endorsements)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience holding a UK driving license
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS/CRC check
  • Previous experience in driving a LWB vehicle required
  • Previous experience in a customer service role preferred

Working Schedule:

  • Start times are either 05:30 (mornings) or 13:15 (afternoons)
  • Working 5 out of 7 days (including weekends)
