Laundry Room Attendant Job Description

Hastings Hotels, a luxury hotel group in Northern Ireland, seeks a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join their talented housekeeping team at the exclusive Culloden Estate and Spa.

As a Laundry Room Attendant, you will work under the inspiring leadership of the Executive Head Housekeeper, David Barry, and have the opportunity to develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality.

The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week, five shifts out of seven, including weekends. The salary for this full-time position is £21,294.00 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and process soiled hotel linen according to Hastings standards.
  • Check items for damage and take appropriate action to ensure they are not returned to stock in a damaged state.
  • Launder and dry clean staff uniforms as required, distributing clean items as needed.
  • Process guest laundry and dry cleaning to high standards, ensuring items are accurately labelled and returned to the correct bedroom.
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are used correctly and report any problems immediately.

About You

We value a clean and tidy appearance, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure as a team player. You must have the right to work in the UK and be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with grades A-C in English and Maths.
