About the Role

Your new company, a global employer, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their Credit Control team based in Stockton On Tees.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hybrid worker, with a 4-day home working schedule and 1 day in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximise cash collection and minimise bad debts by taking charge of customer ledgers.
  • Engage with internal and external customers to build and maintain strong, productive relationships.
  • Proactively secure timely payments and address overdue invoices to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve customer queries and enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Manage customer correspondence meticulously and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts.
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Credit Controller is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
