Envision Education seeks an exceptional SEND Teaching Assistant to work in our Datchet location. This rewarding role involves supporting students with special educational needs, promoting their academic and personal growth.

Job Description:

This position requires a compassionate and skilled individual to provide targeted support to students with complex needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver tailored learning plans, enhancing student engagement and progress.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to SEN students, focusing on their strengths and areas for development.
  • Evaluate and report on pupil progress, informing teaching strategies and adjustments as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year's experience working with children with SEND in a UK school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Hold or be willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS check.
  • Reside in Datchet or within a commutable distance.

Please note that you must be a UK resident or hold a full UK visa and be willing to complete a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check.

Salary:£25,000 - £32,000 per annum.
