We are seeking a driven Ecologist to join our team at Carrington West, a dynamic and growing private planning consultancy based in the UK. Our client specializes in renewable energy projects and prides themselves on delivering innovative, sustainable solutions to their clients.

As an Ecologist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of renewable energy projects from conception through to completion. You will conduct ecological assessments, provide advice on mitigation and enhancement, and work closely with planners, engineers, and other environmental specialists to ensure that biodiversity is at the heart of project planning.

• Conduct Phase 1 habitat surveys, protected species surveys, and ecological assessments.
• Provide ecological input into Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
• Prepare and deliver reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery meets environmental standards.
