We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Cwmbran. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Master Data Manager in delivering business insights that drive performance improvements and contribute to the delivery of the data 4.0 roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with business users to understand their processes, identify their data analytics needs, and agree on solution options
  • Create and maintain data extracts, consolidation dashboards, and reports to support key business use cases
  • Build and monitor key performance indicators
  • Carry out statistical analysis and data visualization
  • Provide analytical support for the exploration and complex analysis of data
  • Organize, summarize, and translate information to facilitate decision-making
  • Undertake analytical activities looking at data quality, seeking out potential opportunities to improve data structure and maintenance processes, implementing where appropriate
  • Present results in a relevant and usable format and explain them in easily understandable terms for decision makers
  • Ensure all process documentation and rulesets, including the data catalogue, are kept current

What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrable experience in using SQL and other programming languages such as Python and R
  • Good working knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting and data analysis tools
  • Good understanding of ERP tool concepts and the data used to support their operation
  • Ability to manage and prioritize stakeholder expectations at all levels ranging from end user up to C-level
  • An ability to communicate complex technical issues to business users
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic and flexible approach, as well as the ability to work under pressure
