Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a thriving secondary school in Derby, UK.

The Job:

  • Support teachers in the delivery of lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Assist with classroom management, providing individualised support to students and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and colleagues to enhance student success.

Key Tasks:

  1. Assist teachers in preparing educational resources and materials for the day.
  2. Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce material and promote understanding.
  3. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  4. Support students with special educational needs as required.
