Apprentice Carpenter/Joiner Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an apprentice carpenter/joiner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a range of activities in the trade, as set out by the Company and their training provider.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure services delivered meet expectations.
  • Ensure work areas are left clean and tidy.
  • Clean, maintain, and store materials and equipment.
  • Attend College on a day release basis and undertake additional training as requested.
  • Participate in the apprentice review process.
  • Follow Health & Safety policy and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) where needed.
  • Use tools, equipment, and materials safely in accordance with COSHH regulations.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and managers.

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Capacity to work as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of English and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of maths.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Flexibility in work activities, locations, and hours of work.
  • Ability to work in external environments and at height.
