Job Title: Head of Supply Chain

MacTaggart Scott is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead our procurement and logistics function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a supply chain strategy that ensures optimal supplier performance and cost savings.
  • Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, tendering, and contract negotiation.
  • Lead the logistics function, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain team, including coaching and development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in business, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • CIPS qualified minimum level 4.
  • Full existing membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
  • Senior management experience, including leadership of a team.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis.
