Site Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Site Maintenance Technician to cover various water and wastewater treatment works projects across Belfast and surrounding areas.
This role involves predominantly field-based work, where you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and installation of new equipment at multiple sites.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assembly, installation, and repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Dismantling, assessing, repairing, and reassembling industrial equipment
- Working flexible hours to meet project requirements
You will be required to operate hand-controlled tools and computer-controlled machinery, as well as use a PDA/tablet device to report job information.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience working on industrial plant and equipment
- A full driving license is essential
- Experience in mobile working, providing planned and reactive maintenance on multiple sites is beneficial
- Knowledge of the water industry is beneficial
- Manual machining skills, such as lathe turning and milling, would be advantageous
In addition to your technical skills, excellent communication abilities and the ability to work independently are essential.
The salary for this position is estimated to be within the range of £30-36k per annum, with opportunities for overtime pay and the use of a company vehicle.
