We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Home Based team. As a Data Engineer, you will design and build Power BI reports that are interactive and visually appealing, analysing data and presenting data through reports that aid decision making to support Priorities Delivery Plan.

This role involves consulting with relevant business leads to understand the BI requirements of operational policing functions, undertaking data discovery work to map business requirements to Sussex Police systems and data, and working collaboratively with colleagues in the Insights Team to test the data and identify data quality issues.

Key skills and qualifications include demonstrable ability to design and create reports in Microsoft Power BI from a variety of data sources, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, self-motivation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
