Preservation Analyst

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Preservation Analyst in Abingdon/Remote, UK or Boston/Remote, US. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary (£65,000 - £85,000 per annum), performance-based bonus, benefits package, and share options.

As a member of our Innovation Team, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions for digital preservation. You will analyze complex file formats, collaborate with global experts, and promote the importance of digital preservation through presentations and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze file formats to enhance our knowledge base.
• Develop rule sets to recommend tools for preserving information long-term.
• Persuade the digital preservation community of the validity and usefulness of your recommendations.
• Present your work at online and in-person meetings and conferences globally.
• Collaborate with our Product team to prioritize feature development.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
