Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Production Planner to join our team at Bombardier Transportation GmbH. As a key member of our production planning team, you will be responsible for coordinating production workflow, determining equipment and raw materials needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage work packs using SAP, Oracle, CAMP, and Excel.
  • Coordinate production workflow for multiple projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Determine equipment and raw materials needed to meet production demand, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Identify and create demands for spares, tooling, consumables, and engineering on assigned aircraft projects.
  • Collaborate with Scheduling, Stores, Engineers, Customer Project Managers, and other staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Plan and prioritize tasks to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay for assigned projects.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors, such as NDT and Borescope Inspection suppliers, to coordinate on-site visits during aircraft maintenance input.
  • Coordinate re-work or restoration shop visits for life-limited parts.
  • Review and research aircraft documents, including Maintenance Manuals, Approved Engineering Orders, and Airworthiness Directives, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Address issues promptly, aiming for minimum disruption to production.
  • Host pre-input meetings with relevant team members to present project details and ensure understanding.
  • Liaise and hold meetings with Customers to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a production planner or in a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
  • Technical background in Aviation, with a good understanding of Part 145.
  • Organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload in a multiple-project setting.
  • Excellent communication abilities, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience with SAP and familiarity with Bombardier Aircraft types would be an asset.
