Highly Skilled Rebuild and Repair Mechanic

Finning is seeking a highly skilled Rebuild and Repair Mechanic to join their team. This role will involve carrying out reconditioning and maintenance on Caterpillar products, with the goal of ensuring that refurbished machines meet Finning's high standards.
SalaryThe salary for this position is approximately £37,800 per annum, based on industry averages and location. In addition to a competitive salary, employees can also expect a range of benefits, including:

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking detailed inspections of machinery to identify areas for repair or refurbishment
- Carrying out standard diagnosis tests to determine the likely cost and duration of repairs
- Producing comprehensive lists of parts and materials required for each job
- Carrying out overhaul, repair, or refurbishment work to agreed specifications
- Inspecting and testing completed machines to ensure they meet performance expectations
