About the Role

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team on a major infrastructure project in the West Midlands. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the project's earthworks, infrastructure, roads, drainage, and structures.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong academic record in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, and a solid background in Civil Engineering projects. Your expertise in leadership, resource allocation, and general management will be essential in driving the project forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a detailed works programme
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively
  • Identify and assess risks
  • Develop and implement project plans
  • Collaborate with the project team to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Educated to at least HNC/HND level in a relevant construction-related subject matter
  • Strong working knowledge of Asta Powerproject or Primavera
  • Demonstrable experience in leadership and resource allocation
  • Experience in risk identification and assessment
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of managing and maintaining a works programme
